Youth Corps

Internship Opportunity

Youth Corps was created because of Student Health Advocates, so it is truly a youth-driven program. In 2021, OSBHA hosted its first cohort. Since then, the Youth Corps program has expanded to offer the paid opportunity to over 20 youth.

Through this program,  OSBHA continues to uplift youth in positions that create youth-adult partnerships that are indeed a partnership. The Youth Corps Internship Program creates a space where youth voices are leading all stages of OSBHA projects. Interns build professional development skills such as relationship and team-building, communication and public speaking, goal setting, event planning, and project management that allow them to complete project-related deliverables and youth events.
